Once you have received you new Blue Ocean Wireless SIM card all you to do is insert the SIM Card into your mobile phone. Once you have inserted your BOW SIM Card turn on your mobile phone and start texting and calling.

 

All BOW SIM Cards come pre-loaded with 5.00 units.

 

Please note that for the BOW SIM Card to work, you will need an unlocked mobile phone.

 

In case your phone is locked, please contact your current mobile operator with whom you have your current subscription to inquire about possible unlocking the phone.

 

 

Making A Call:

 

When making a call or sending a text message please enter the full international dial string using the '+' symbol e.g. +63 for the Philippines or +7 for Russia or +91 for India.

 

 

Your number:

 

Your BOW SIM Card comes with a Philippine number range so your mobile phone number while at sea will be starting with +63.

 

Please note that all network generated messages such as balance inquiry and SIM toolkit messages will be in English.

Customer Care:

 

There are three ways to access customer service from wherever you are.  You can:

 

1. Use your mobile phone while at sea to text customer service at 5260 or call *888
2. Call from any landline on +63 2 888 2426
3. Send an e-mail to customercare@blueoceanwireless.com

 

 

Credit re-loading:

 

Your BOW SIM Card is a prepaid GSM service. All credit is valid for 180 days

Once you have used the first 5 units you will need to top up.

Balance inquiry: Simply send a text message "BAL" to 4216 or access the 'Blue Ocean' menu from your SIM Toolkit menu.

You can re-load your SIM with more credit by purchasing an e-scratch card or by purchasing additional credit on your personal credit card.
